Bryan Rogan, Counseling Intern

I first moved to Montana in 1990 to attend college at the University of Montana. Over three decades later, I am thrilled that I still call Montana home. In my free time, I enjoy fly fishing, camping, river floats, and the many close friendships that I’ve made over the years, all of which provide purpose and meaning in my life. Throughout my life, helping others has always been a core value, which is why counseling is a natural fit and why I decided to pursue this path.

Who I work with

IndividualsI work with adults experiencing emotional stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, as well as those seeking personal growth, greater self-awareness, and meaningful change in their lives. I enjoy supporting clients who are navigating challenges related to relationships, identity, purpose, and emotional regulation, and who are seeking a safe and supportive space to explore them.

I approach counseling as a collaborative process and believe that meaningful change happens through authentic connection, trust, and self-exploration. I view my role as a supportive “co-pilot” who helps clients identify their strengths, gain insight into their experiences, and move toward greater balance, resilience, and fulfillment.

Bryan is currently accepting clients at a reduced rate as he is a counselor in training, completing his practicum, and cannot accept insurance. His rates are $45 for initial intakes and $35 for subsequent sessions.

My Philosophy

I believe that connections and relationships form the foundation upon which we build our lives and shape how we experience the world around us. I approach counseling from a strengths-based and purpose-driven perspective, emphasizing authenticity, empathy, mindfulness, and self-awareness. Change often begins when individuals acknowledge their vulnerabilities with compassion and curiosity rather than judgment.

I create a counseling environment where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. Every person possesses the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change, and that counseling can help individuals reconnect with their values, inner resilience, and sense of purpose. My approach emphasizes collaboration, reflection, and the importance of developing a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationships with others.

“Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.”

Where I Trained

I graduated from the University of Montana in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications. Following graduation, I spent nearly 30 years working in professional roles, where I consistently valued communication, relationship-building, mentorship, and personal growth. In 2024, I began pursuing my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I am currently completing my practicum and internship training with Breathe Mind Body Therapy as part of the process toward professional counselor licensure.
